Why would I have someone else create my album designs?

Album design takes time. This is time you could be building your business, meeting with new clients, shooting more events/sessions, studying with master photographers, or spending time with friends and family.  Having someone else create your album designs gives you back this precious time.

I see you only use Graphistudio. What if I use another company to produce my albums?

Our partnership with Graphistudio has been established since 2004. We know their products and their team. Graphistudio is an award winning industry leader and we have decided to primarily create album designs hand crafted by Graphistudio.  We will certainly create designs for other companies, but stand behind the quality Graphistudio provides..

How should my images be given to you?

Your images should be ready to work with.  All of your images should be adjusted for color management, exposure, retouched.  Images should be formatted as JPEG, Embedded with Color  Profile (Adobe RGB), Maximum Quality, and Baseline ("Standard") Format.  Additionally, images should be 300dpi and at least 4800px x 6000px.  We offer retouching for a nominal fee.  Contact us directly for a quote.  Once you place your order we will send you a link to which you may upload the images for your project.

How many spreads / images does the average album contain?

Over the many years we have been designing we have found the average album to have 35 two-page spreads (70 pages) and 140 images.  Please check with the Graphistudio product your are ordering to see page minimums and maximums.  Each product has its own specifications.

Can you select the images for the album?

Yes.  Once you have uploaded the images we can design the album using the number of images you requested when you placed your order. The fee for this service is $75.

Do you offer a discount if I order more than one book design?

Yes.  We appreciate your business and offer a discount when your studio uses our services again and again.  The more orders you place the larger the discount.  The discount is calculated by the calendar year.  Ask us for more details.

Graphistudio is running a promotion right now, do you offer rush service?

We offer a rush delivery for the initial design for orders received before 2 pm EST.  Your design will be ready for proofing the same day.  (We calculate the start time from the time you have placed your order, paid, and uploaded your images.)   - $100
